"Automating a mess will result to an automated mess." Explain this quote
For example when organizations look to improve their business processes they often turn to technology first. However, this typically leads to big problems if they have not re-designed their business. The selling point that most technology vendors make it that their systems can automate a lot of your business processes. These systems are sold with the labels of business process management, business service management, IT service management (ITMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and other names. But "automating a mess yields an automated mess".This was the summary of Dr.Micheal hammer, the man responsible for coining the term "business process reengineering".Before automating your process you must re-design them.Otherwise the huge investment that you have invested in business process automation tools will be wasted. So in other words it is like automating something that is not useful for you or the worst is that the so called mess is a bad thing so if you will automate something you should be very careful and analyze everything before you do it because if you already automate something then its not yet fix or its not yet ready it may cause something bad and it may do wrong. We really need to do automating seriously and we need to watch every detail in our work so that it will never go wrong because it is automated if you do it wrong this will never be fixed because it is going to be automated but its already a mess.So don't attempt to automate something if you're not sure of it.
Question No. 2:
Prominent book authors said that technology is the biggest contributor to climate change; in your capacity as an IT student hoe would you address this global problem? Enumerate steps and actions to be taken.
We all know that of course technology is one of the reasons for global warming or climate change but i think it is not the biggest contributor to climate change and global warming there are so many things that is more of a big contributor to global warming and climate change than technology and the fact that technology is very useful for us people is like an advantage of technology to other things that affects global warming and climate change for example burning things the smoke that came from that burned things is affecting global warming and climate change it is not necessary that you will burn things just to get rid of it compared to technology it can help our lives easier, better, and even more happier so i think technology is not the biggest contributor to climate change and global warming because its way more useful to us than any other things that contributes to climate change and global warming.Technology is not the biggest contributor it contributes to climate change and global warming but it is not the biggest contributor to climate change and global warming being able to contribute to climate change and global warming as well as contribute to make peoples lives easier is not that really bad.
Question No. 3:
How you distinguish a professional from other kinds of workers? Does someone who completes for only a two-year course in technical can be classified as a professional? Defend your answer
Professional workers are those workers that is very good and very mature in terms of their working ability its like they love working they know everything about their work and they are very well aware of what work is. In the case of other kinds of workers is that they know what are they doing in work but they don`t love or they get very confused about something in that work then its like they only work because they need to not like the professionals they used to love their work so that they will be very effective as a worker but i`m not saying that other kinds of workers is not effective i`m just saying that professionals are better than them because of something that is very important if your doing your job or work in that is to be happy all the time even if its very stressful. And for the second question i don`t think finishing 4 year course is going to matter in the long run but i understand the important`s of it and i think two year course can be classified as professionals because if you just like and love your work you can be professional.
